ZVM: Zephyr-based Virtual Machine – Guoqi Xie, Professor, Hunan University
ZVM ( Zephyr-based Virtual Machine) is a new-generation Type 1.5 RTOS virtualization solution (Hypervisor). ZVM is developed in conjunction with the open source real-time operating system Zephyr RTOS, and can start multiple guest operating systems (Linux, Zephyr, etc.) on a single hardware, thereby building a securely isolated multi-OS mixed deployment. Type 1.5 is not a trade-off between real-time processing (Type 1) and flexibility (Type 2), but achieves the best state in both without sacrificing either side.
