What’s happening around the Zephyr Project at the embedded world Exhibition & Conference 2026? Where can you see Zephyr in action? And how can you connect with the community during the event?
From March 10–12, 2026, the global embedded systems community will gather in Nuremberg, Germany, for the 24th edition of the embedded world Exhibition & Conference. Since its launch in 2003, embedded world has grown into one of the leading global platforms combining a large-scale exhibition with a world-class technical conference focused on applied research and industrial innovation.
The event brings together engineers, developers, companies, researchers, and open source communities to explore technologies shaping the future of embedded systems.
This year, the Zephyr Project will once again play an active role across the exhibition floor and conference program.
Visit the Zephyr Project Booth
The Zephyr Project booth will be located in Hall 4, Stand 4-170 at the embedded world Exhibition.
Throughout the exhibition days, visitors can expect:
- Live Zephyr RTOS demos from ecosystem members
- Technical discussions with developers and maintainers
- Opportunities to connect with companies building products with Zephyr
- Special activities celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Zephyr Project
Ecosystem members showcasing demos at the booth include Antmicro, Nordic Semiconductor, Silicon Labs, NXP Semiconductors, Renesas Electronics, AC6, inovex GmbH, Doulos, Beningo Embedded Group, Alif Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, Blecon, Microchip Technology, and Percepio.
These companies will demonstrate how Zephyr RTOS is being used across hardware platforms and embedded applications. To explore the full list of demos, read the blog: “Zephyr RTOS in Action: Demos at embedded world 2026”
Many ecosystem companies will also showcase Zephyr-powered demos at their own booths throughout the exhibition hall, so be sure to explore the exhibition floor to see even more Zephyr based innovations.
Celebrate 10 Years of the Zephyr Project
This year marks a special milestone for the community, the 10-year anniversary of the Zephyr Project, which was first launched at embedded world in 2016.
To celebrate, the Zephyr booth will host several special activities throughout the exhibition.
Visitors will be able to collect Zephyr stickers, kites, commemorative anniversary ribbons, badges, and other community swag while connecting with maintainers, contributors, and ecosystem partners.
One of the highlights is the Zephyr anniversary scavenger hunt, a fun activity taking place across the exhibition. Participants will search for clues and complete challenges related to Zephyr and the ecosystem.
Those who complete the scavenger hunt will have a chance to win special prizes, including limited-edition Zephyr anniversary hoodies and hardware giveaways sponsored by ecosystem members such as Infineon, NXP Semiconductors, Nordic Semiconductor, Renesas Electronics, and Silicon Labs. Be sure to stop by the Zephyr booth to learn how to participate.

Community Events During embedded world
Embedded world week also offers opportunities to connect with the broader embedded and IoT community.
On March 10, IoT Stars, a global community of IoT professionals, will host an opening night gathering from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, offering attendees the opportunity to network and meet fellow IoT professionals in a relaxed setting.
On March 11, the Zephyr Project booth will host a Happy Hour and the official 10-year anniversary celebration, featuring a cake-cutting ceremony and drinks. Visitors attending the embedded world are invited to join the celebration.
Zephyr at the embedded world Conference
Alongside the exhibition, the embedded world Conference 2026 will once again feature a dedicated Zephyr track.
The Zephyr Project participates as a Community Partner, contributing workshops and technical sessions addressing real-world embedded development challenges.
Topics covered during the conference include:
- Hands-on Zephyr development workflows
- Migrating from FreeRTOS to Zephyr
- Safety certification for embedded systems
- Power optimization techniques
- Vulnerability management in RTOS environments
- Running Linux and Zephyr side by side on the same device
