The Winegard Sensor Pack is a smart monitoring system designed to provide real-time visibility into critical conditions inside an RV. The kit includes five Bluetooth-enabled sensors that monitor motion, water leaks, temperature and humidity, and door or window status, helping owners stay aware of what is happening in their RV whether they are nearby or away. These sensors work together to create an early warning system for common issues such as water intrusion, unexpected entry, or environmental changes.

The sensors connect through a compatible Winegard gateway or router, allowing data to be viewed through a mobile app and enabling notifications when conditions change. This connected system turns an RV into a smart, monitored environment, giving users greater control and insight into their vehicle’s security and safety.

Designed specifically for RV installations, the compact sensors are battery powered, easy to install, and built to operate across a wide range of temperatures. By combining multiple sensor types into a single integrated system, the Winegard Sensor Pack helps RV owners detect problems early and maintain awareness of their RV wherever their travels take them.

Zephyr’s modular architecture made it possible to implement a unified firmware codebase across all sensor types in the system. Motion, temperature/humidity, water leak, and door sensors share a common software framework, while Zephyr’s device drivers and configuration system allow each product variant to enable only the hardware and features it requires. This approach significantly reduces development complexity while ensuring consistent behavior and maintainability across the entire sensor lineup.

By building on Zephyr, the platform benefits from a modern embedded ecosystem with strong support for connectivity, security, and long-term maintainability. The result is a flexible firmware architecture that simplifies development, improves reliability, and allows new sensor types or capabilities to be added without redesigning the core system.
