CES, which usually has an infamous presence at Las Vegas each year, was reimagined to be fully digital this year. From January 11-14, 1900 exhibitors and participants from more than 164 countries convened online to launch new products, network, learn the hottest trends and more.
For the first-time ever, Zephyr participated in CES this year. Zephyr Project members from Antmicro, Facebook, Google, Laird Connectivity, The Linux Foundation, Memfault, Nordic Semiconductor, NXP and Synopsys were available to answer questions and discuss why Zephyr is the fasted adopted RTOS in the landscape.
At the show, Zephyr announced new member tools that will improve automation on the road to safety certification and welcomed new members BayLibre, Memfault and Parasoft. You can read the news here.
The project also created a few specific videos for the booth. Barna Ibrahim, Platforms & Ecosystems Partner Development Lead at Google, offers a quick 90-second overview of Zephyr. You can find the video here: https://youtu.be/MSAu8gVV4SU
In addition, Zephyr ambassadors from Laird Connectivity and Intel talk through about why they selected the RTOS for their products. You can view that video here: https://youtu.be/Q9M7vsrDkpM.
Thank you to everyone for stopping by the booth during the week! If you didn’t get a chance but would like to, the CES digital venue remains open until February 15. You can still watch the videos, check out our resources or request a meeting from any one of the Zephyr ambassadors.
Thank you to Jonathan Kaye (Laird Connectivity), Michael Gielda (Antmicro), Paal Kastnes (Nordic Semiconductor), Megan Hanson (NXP), Barna Ibrahim (Google), Kate Stewart (The Linux Foundation), Phil Brownfield (Synopsys), Michael Cheng (Facebook), James Pace (Memfault), Maureen Helm (NXP), Joel Stapleton (Nordic Semiconductor) and Ana Nashif (Intel) for volunteering at the Zephyr booth and engaging with attendees.
If you weren’t at the show, no worries! You can always ask questions or engage with the community on Slack. Or, keep an eye out for Zephyr at Embedded World (March 1-5) and Embedded IoT World (April 28-29).
