On June 8-9, 2022, the Zephyr Developer Summit (ZDS) hosted more than 150 people in-person in Mountain View, CA and 236 virtual attendees around the world. For 2023, we are excited to announce that Zephyr Developer Summit will take place on June 27-30 in Prague, Czech Republic, as part of the first-ever Embedded Open Source Summit (EOSS).
Embedded Open Source Summit is a new umbrella event for open source embedded projects and developer communities to come together under one roof for important collaboration, discussions and education.
Together with Embedded Linux Conference, Zephyr Developer Summit provides a foundation for collaboration between these embedded development communities. The format will include presentations, BoFs, training, workshops and min-confs designed for real time problem solving and deep discussion. Additional co-located events and micro conferences are expected to be added in the next few months.
What does this mean for the Zephyr Developer Summit?
ZDS 2023 will still be planned and managed by the Zephyr Project. A call for volunteers for the dedicated program committee will go out shortly to help Zephyr plan the 3 tracks over 3 days during the conference.
The Call for Proposals (CFP) will also launch later this month.
More details coming soon. Stay tuned by subscribing to the Zephyr quarterly newsletter or connect with us on @ZephyrIoT, Zephyr Project LinkedIn or the Zephyr Discord Channel to talk with community and TSC members.
