Zephyr RTOS Use Case – PHYTEC Distance Tracker

By November 24, 2020No Comments

During this challenging COVID-19 environment, technology companies worldwide have come together to create products and solutions that help monitor the virus or help prevent it from spreading. With its small footprint, integrated stacks and dependability to speed time to market, Zephyr is the perfect RTOS for developers to use in their solutions. From distance trackers to contact tracing wearables and smart safety shoes, developers are using Zephyr RTOS and making their products available in less than 3 months.

German manufacturer and developer of embedded micro-devices, PHYTEC was quick to develop a Distance Tracker Kit, which tracks distance measurement between two or more people in a workplace. Initially launched in April, this tracker is based on Zephyr as well as Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF52832 Bluetooth® System-on-Chip (SoC).

Learn more about how the PHYTEC distance tracker works, how it uses Nordic’s nRF52832, Bluetooth and Zephyr and more in this Nordic Semiconductor blog: https://www.nordicsemi.com/News/2020/05/PHYTEC-employs-the-nRF52832-SoC
